  The Most Metal Athlete
Baron Corbin won Most Metal Athlete from Revolver Music Awards in 2016. The only other recipient to win that was The Game, Triple H! So it's pretty awesome that our Lone Wolf is now apart of that as well.

Baron Corbin def. Dolph Ziggler

No flukes this time — just a fight and a winner. And oddly enough, it’s probably better for Dolph Ziggler that his long-brewing rematch against Baron Corbin ended in a win for The Lone Wolf. He might at least be spared any further sneak attacks from the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner, who’s spent much of the last two weeks brutally insinuating his loss to The Showoff at WWE Payback was an aberration.

It’s not that veteran instincts didn’t almost give Ziggler the edge a second time. After The Lone Wolf stopped to mug for the camera after an earth-shaking Deep Six, Ziggler almost sealed the deal with a rollup. Give Corbin credit for kicking out, and for turning the tide with an impressive maneuver of his own by bouncing The Showoff face-first off the top turnbuckle, then unleashing the End of Days for the win.

Battle Royal to determine No. 1 Contender for the U.S. Championship

Hold onto your Stars and Bars: Rusev is coming for the U.S. Title once again. The Bulgarian Brute punched his ticket to challenge Kalisto by winning a Battle Royal on Raw that featured standout performances from a number of Superstars who could just as easily have seized the honor for themselves. The Social Outcasts’ unity carried them through the bout together; Dolph Ziggler eliminated Baron Corbin and was summarily brutalized by The Lone Wolf moments later; Sheamus booted Apollo Crews and a returning Titus O’Neil out of contention.

Most thrillingly, Zack Ryder nearly battled his way to a second miracle win, making it to the final four alongside all three former members of The League of Nations. The three foreign menaces ultimately turned on each other, bringing it down to Ryder and Rusev. The Ultimate Broski hit Rusev with a flurry of fists and a torpedo Broski Broot to the face and had him an inch from victory, but a last-second reversal by Rusev handed him the win.

Damien Sandow vs. Baron Corbin never happened

As The Lone Wolf heads to the ring to take on Damien Sandow, The Showoff strikes.

Damien Sandow’s back on Raw! But baby, his return was much too fast, as his scheduled opponent, Baron Corbin, didn’t even make it to the ring before Dolph Ziggler bum-rushed The Lone Wolf from behind. Ziggler repaid the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner with the type of beatdown Corbin’s fast becoming known for bestowing on several opponents, Ziggler in particular. The Showoff’s attack on Corbin was so relentless he sent the imposing newcomer into retreat, meaning they’ll walk into their freshly made match at WWE Payback with the power balance reversed.

Baron Corbin def. Fandango

The dancing Superstar faces The Lone Wolf in this Raw matchup.

Getting back onto the dance floor hasn’t gone so smoothly for ol’ Fandango. A well-intentioned alliance with Goldust failed to pay out on SmackDown, and ’Dango’s tango with Baron Corbin on Raw ended … well, about as well as you’d expect it to end for someone who stands up to WWE’s newest powerhouse. Fandango showed some impressive athleticism in his bid to take down The Lone Wolf, but he ultimately joined Zack Ryder on Corbin’s victim list on the strength of an End of Days. Corbin didn’t let his decimation of Fandango stop him from throwing some more aggression Dolph Ziggler’s way — he chucked Fandango over the announce table into The Showoff at commentary, and finished off his night with another End of Days to Zig Man after the bell.

The winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal makes his Raw debut against The Showoff.

Just one night after winning the third annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania, Baron Corbin put the entire WWE roster on notice, promising the End of Days for anyone who gets in his way.

Tonight, Dolph Ziggler became The Lone Wolf’s first casualty.

True to fearless form, The Showoff raced into action, unintimidated by Corbin’s cosiderable mass or obvious anger problems. Ziggler’s superior speed paid dividends when he dodged a shoulder block, resulting in Corbin ramming shoulder-first into the corner.

The Showoff then charged with two splashes, connected with a DDT and even dropped Corbin with the Famouser for a near fall. Still, Corbin would not be put down that easily. The 6-foot-8, 275-pound bruiser booted Ziggler in the face, sending  Dolph flying over the the barricade and into the WWE Universe. Corbin stayed on top of his prey, throwing him into trash cans. In the heat of battle, however, The Lone Wolf neglected the referee’s orders, and both Superstars were counted out.

Enraged, Corbin told the official “This is on you,” before he dragged Ziggler back over the barricade and into the ringside area, where he splattered Ziggler on the floor with an unforgiving  End of Days on the floor.
