Akira Tozawa vs. Baron Corbin 

 

We go back to the ring and out comes Baron Corbin with WWE Hall of Famer JBL. Akira Tozawa is out next.

 

The bell rings and they lock up with Corbin taking it to the corner, man-handling Tozawa a bit. Tozawa with a kick and more kicks. Corbin ducks a kick but Tozawa goes on. Corbin keeps fighting as they go at it. Corbin levels Tozawa as stands tall as JBL applauds. Corbin looks to capitalize but Tozawa counters wit a DDT.

 

Tozawa goes to the top for a missile dropkick. Corbin kicks out at 2. Corbin stumbles into the corner and Tozawa attacks. Corbin whips Tozawa across the ring but runs into boots. Tozawa taunts JBL for a pop then leaps off the top with a hurricanrana to send Corbin flying across the ring to the floor. Tozawa with a suicide dive to send Corbin into the barrier.

 

Corbin rushes back into the ring but he’s hurting. Tozawa follows, sending Corbin back down to the floor. Tozawa stalls a bit in yelling at JBL, then goes for another dive but Corbin catches him and launches him into the barrier. Corbin sends Tozawa back into the barrier, then works him over with punches, knees to the gut, and elbows. Corbin brings it back into the ring as JBL cheers him on. Corbin gets his knee dropkicked out.

 

They tangle and Tozawa hits a scissors takedown, then a Shining Wizard to take Corbin out. Fans pop as Tozawa goes back to the top. Tozawa launches himself at Corbin and he goes down. Tozawa goes back to the top for the crossbody but Corbin catches him in mid-air, then turns that into End of Days for the pin to win.

 

Winner: Baron Corbin

 

– After the match, The Modern Day Wrestling God stands tall as the music hits. JBL enters the ring to raise Corbin’s arm in victory as we go to replays.

Baron Corbin vs. Cedric Alexander

 

We go back to the ring and out comes WWE Hall of Famer JBL. Back to commercial.

 

Back from the break and JBL talks about how he’s sold out top arenas all over the world, then he insults the people of Wilkes-Barre. The Wrestling God then introduces The Modern Day Wrestling God and out comes Baron Corbin to mostly boos. Cedric Alexander is out next as JBL joins Graves and Patrick on commentary.

 

The bell rings and Corbin rams Alexander back into the turnbuckles, then unloads with right hands as the referee warns him. Corbin taunts Alexander, then stomps away. Corbin plays to the crowd as they taunt him now. Corbin beats Alexander around the ring while yelling at the crowd and stopping to pose to boos. Corbin whips Alexander into the corner, ducks a pair of boots, then runs out of the ring, back in and levels Alexander with a big lariat.

 

Alexander kicks out at 2. Corbin rocks Alexander in the corner but gets tripped into the turnbuckles. Alexander fights back with a dropkick, then a kip-up. Alexander mounts some offense and sends Corbin to the floor with the Neuralyzer. Alexander with a suicide dive to the bottom of the ramp now. Alexander works Corbin over and knocks him back into the ring.

 

Alexander quickly follows Corbin back in but Corbin catches him with End of Days for the pin to win out of nowhere.

 

Winner: Baron Corbin 

 

– After the match, Corbin stands tall as the music hits. JBL returns to the ring to join Corbin in celebrating to end the segment.

– We go back to the ring and out comes WWE Hall of Famer JBL to a pop from the Texas crowd. The Wrestling God wipes his feet, then enters the ring. JBL poses as we go back to commercial.

 

Back from the break and JBL says it’s good to be back in the great state of Texas. He talks up the history of Texas some, and how there have been many heroes of The Lone Star State, including WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin. JBL goes on and says Texas was great until you snowflakes showed up and ruined it. He says from a Texas legend, not a single one of you should be allowed to call yourself a Texas. Fans boo now. JBL says you people disgust him, but despite all of that, he will still introduce greatness to this state once again. JBL introduces the man who will help save Texas… he goes on with the grand introduction and out comes The Modern Day Wrestling God – Baron Corbin.

 

Corbin comes out and poses as the pyro hits. He then heads to the ring as JBL looks on. Corbin takes the mic and says everyone is excited. He goes on about how everyone acknowledges that he has it all. He thanks everyone for scraping their last dollars together to come see him in the flesh. JBL applauds. Corbin knows it wasn’t easy, some probably had to put in extra hours at the farm or factory, but it shows how much the people love Corbin. He goes on about the truth, but the music interrupts and out comes R-Truth rapping his way to the ring. Truth is dressed up as a cowboy, stuffed mini-horse and all.

 

JBL calls Truth a buffoon, ask him what he’s doing and says he looks ridiculous. Truth just wanted to wish Dallas a Happy Halloween, but he especially wanted to tell you both that he really, really, really likes their Halloween costumes. Fans pop. JBL says they’re not wearing costumes, you idiot. Truth says JBL is dressed like a mean, hostile, steaming mad, out of touch, old man. Fans pop. And Corbin is dressed as just the world’s biggest.. Corbin attacks but Truth ducks and drops him with a shot to the mouth. Truth kicks Corbin but turns round to JBL throwing his hat in Truth’s face. Corbin decks Truth from behind, then drops him with End of Days to boos from the crowd. JBL and Corbin stand tall together.

– The Miz stops Johnny Gargano backstage and isn’t happy with how he dressed up as Dexter Lumis. Miz says Gargano deceived him. Gargano says Miz has been deceiving everybody, so that makes two of us. Miz storms off. WWE Hall of Famer JBL and Baron Corbin stop Gargano now. JBL knocks Gargano, and says this isn’t the minor leagues now, so Gargano should show respect and stop to introduce himself. JBL says if this was the Attitude Era, Gargano would be carrying his bags. JBL asks Gargano if he thinks it’s funny to mess with The Miz. JBL says Gargano needs to learn some respect. Gargano says he was 8 years old in the Attitude Era, but JBL is right, and he will give JBL his respect because he’s a legend and a WWE Hall of Famer. Gargano shakes hands with JBL and insults him, calling him MC Hammer Pants. Gargano addresses Corbin now and wonders what his name is these days… Boring? No, Baron Corbin. Corbin wants to fight but JBL tells him to save it for when the whole world can watch and see how JBL’s acquisition is paying off, the biggest in RAW history. JBL hypes The Modern Day Wrestling God vs. Johnny Wrestling. Corbin and JBL walk off, and Gargano tells JBL, nice hat by the way.

 

 

 

Baron Corbin vs. Johnny Gargano

 

We go back to the ring and out comes WWE Hall of Famer JBL. The Wrestling God hits the ring and we go back to commercial.

 

Back from the break and Luke Gallows returns to the trainer’s room, where AJ Styles and Karl Anderson are waiting. Gallows was apparently hit with a low blow by Rhea Ripley. Gallows agrees that they have a Rhea problem. We go back to the ring and JBL has the mic. He starts insulting North Carolina and the locals. JBL now starts praising Baron Corbin, calling him RAW’s greatest addition. JBL calls on the North Carolinians to get on their hoofs, and let out their little hillbilly squeals to welcome The Modern Day Wrestling God. The music hits and out comes Corbin with new gear, which is a step up from what he wore last week. Corbin hits the ring and poses in the corners but fans boo. The music interrupts and out comes Johnny Gargano. JBL joins the announcers.

 

The bell hits and Corbin shoves Gargano back into the turnbuckles, and talks some trash. Corbin charges but Gargano side-steps, then unloads with strikes. Gargano mounts Corbin but Corbin brings him out of the corner for a slam, and Gargano rolls him for a 2 count. Gargano keeps control and dropkicks Corbin to the floor. Gargano nails a suicide dive for a pop.

 

Gargano brings it back in and goes to launch himself in from the apron, but Corbin rocks him off the apron to the floor with a big right hand. Corbin keeps control and rams Gargano back into the ring post. Corbin brings it back in as JBL praises him. Corbin taunts the crowd and returns to the ring with a knee to Gargano’s ribs. Corbin works Gargano in the corner and hits a big splash. Corbin talks some more trash to the crowd, then nails another right to Gargano. Gargano blocks a suplex, then nails a rolling elbow. Corbin rocks Gargano into the ropes.

 

Corbin charges but ends up getting dropkicked back to the floor. Gargano evades Corbin on the apron, then back kicks him. Corbin caches Gargano in mid-air, then slams him hard on top of the announce table as JBL figures that will leave a mark. Gargano is laid out on the table as Corbin celebrates with JBL. Back to commercial.

 

Back from the break and Corbin slams Gargano. Corbin goes on and catches Gargano on his shoulders, then drives him into the mat with a neckbreaker for another close 2 count. Corbin runs into a boot in the corner. Gargano keeps control and forces Corbin to run into the ring post shoulder-first. Gargano with right hands. Gargano with an enziguri, then a high knee in the corner. Gargano with the Bulldog out of the corner as fans cheer him on. JBL isn’t worried and has all the faith in the world in Corbin. Gargano fights off a counter and slingshots himself in from the apron with a Spear.

 

Corbin still kicks out at 2. Gargano ties the arm up but Corbin grabs the throat and shoves him into the corner. Gargano leaps off the second rope but Corbin catches him in mid-air and delivers JBL’s fall-away slam, which JBL likes. Corbin gets heat as he barks to the crowd. Gargano blocks End of Days and rolls Corbin for 2. Gargano with a kick, then rights and lefts while Corbin is on his knees. Gargano charges but Corbin catches him with Deep Six for a close 2 count.

 

Corbin is a bit frustrated now. Fans chant “Johnny Wrestling!” to rally. Corbin takes Gargano to the top for a superplex, and rocks him with a right but wastes some time now. Corbin climbs up and delivers a forearm. Corbin keeps climbing but Gargano rocks him and nails a headbutt to send him to the mat. Corbin charges as Gargano leaps off the top but rolls through. Corbin goes out and right back in around the ring post, but Gargano superkicks him as he returns. Corbin still kicks out at 2. Gargano goes for a suicide dive but Corbin catches him by the throat at ringside, and slams him face-first into the announce table.

 

Gargano is sent to the floor. Corbin takes apart the announce table top but Gargano superkicks him. Corbin charges but hits the steel ring steps when Gargano side-steps. Gargano goes to the top of the announce table and stares JBL down. Gargano has his eye on JBL’s cowboy hat now. JBL warns him. Gargano puts the hat on and dances a bit on the table as fans cheer. Gargano leaps off the announce table and drops Corbin with a tornado DDT on the floor.

 

Gargano taunts JBL, then brings it back into the ring. Gargano kicks Corbin from the apron. JBL, upset over the taunting, gets up from the table and sweeps Gargano on the apron while Corbin has the referee distracted. Corbin takes advantage and nails End of Days for the pin to win in the middle of the ring.

 

Winner: Baron Corbin

 

– After the match, Corbin stands tall as the music hits. We go to replays. JBL celebrates with Corbin in the ring now.

JBL says Rey Mysterio left RAW for SmackDown as Dominik Mysterio found out what we’ve known for years, that Rey the deadbeat dad is one of the worst human beings ever. Fans boo. JBL says Rey wears a mask because he’s ashamed of himself, but that void has created the biggest trade since Babe Ruth came to the New York Yankees. JBL calls for the sweathogs to stand on their feet, put their chubby hands together and welcome the greatest addition to RAW ever – Mr. Baron Corbin.

 

The music hits and out comes Corbin wearing new gear, and with an updated theme. He stops as the pyro goes off and fans boo. JBL applauds from the ring as Corbin makes his way in. Corbin shakes hands with JBL, then hits the corners to pose. JBL praises Corbin as three times the size of Mysterio, and says the dominance of Baron Corbin starts tonight. JBL says he asked for competition and WWE gave them a former World Champion – Dolph Ziggler. JBL says Ziggler isn’t stealing the show, he’s been stealing money from the company for years because if he was in the Attitude Era, he would’ve never made the cut. JBL says looking at the rest of the roster backstage today, they also would never have made it, they would’ve had to watch the show from the crowd like you fans, and praise the greats like Corbin. JBL goes on and declares today starts the Monday Night RAW emergence of The Modern Day Wrestling God – Mr. Baron Corbin. The music hits and out comes Ziggler to a pop.

 

Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler

 

Baron Corbin and JBL look on as Dolph Ziggler makes his way into the ring. They stare Ziggler down from the corner as we go back to commercial.

 

Back from the break and the bell rings as they go a tit. Corbin sends Ziggler to the corner but runs into an elbow. JBL is on commentary. Corbin sends Ziggler to the floor and follows. Corbin keeps control and brings it back in, then continues to beat Ziggler around the ring.

 

Corbin levels Ziggler with a big boot. Corbin beats Ziggler down in the corner, then puts a boot to him on the apron. Ziggler tries to fight but Corbin levels him with a running back elbow. Ziggler kicks out at 2. Ziggler kicks Corbin, then dodges a splash in the corner. Ziggler mounts Corbin in the corner with right hands as fans count along. Corbin catches Ziggler in mid-air and tosses him but runs into a right hand.

 

Ziggler with a big DDT for a 2 count as JBL continues to praise Corbin on commentary. Ziggler beats Corbin down in the corner now as the referee warns him. Ziggler rakes Corbin’s face across the top rope. Corbin counters a neckbreaker and hits a long inverted vertical suplex, holding Ziggler there for a few seconds.

 

Corbin levels Ziggler with a Clothesline from Hell and fans boo as he stares out. Corbin follows Ziggler to the floor and launches him into the steel ring steps. Corbin stands tall at ringside as the boos continue. Back to commercial.

 

Back from the break and Corbin mounts Ziggler with right hands. Corbin continues to beat Ziggler around as fans taunt him with the “Bumass Corbin!” chant from Pat McAfee. Ziggler dumps Corbin to the floor and then beats him up at the apron. Corbin fights back in but Ziggler mounts offense. Ziggler leaps onto Corbin in the corner with right hands, then nails a neckbreaker. Ziggler plays to the crowd for a pop, then drops the big elbow for a 2 count.

 

JBL says he’s been working with and talking to Corbin, and is confident in his abilities. Corbin fights back and hits the fall-away slam for a close 2 count. They tangle some more. Ziggler with the Fame-asser for a close 2 count in the middle of the ring. They go on and Corbin nails a Deep Six after blocking the Zig-Zag. Corbin is furious now as he yells out. They trade more offense. Ziggler nails a dropkick. Corbin misses a big boot. Ziggler nails the Zig-Zag for another close 2 count.

 

Fans rally for Ziggler now. Ziggler is fired up as he waits for the superkick. Corbin blocks it and nails End of Days in the middle of the ring for the pin to win.

 

Winner: Baron Corbin

 

– After the match, JBL enters the ring and applauds while Corbin celebrates. We go to replays. JBL drops to a knee and presents Corbin to the crowd as he stands tall.

We see what happened last week with Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal. Kevin Patrick is backstage with SmackDown Superstar Baron Corbin now, asking why he’s come to RAW as a part of the Brand 2 Brand Invitational. Corbin talks about how bad his life has been as of late. He was sleeping in a production truck this weekend when Jinder called him and offered a chance to turn his life around. Corbin says it’s risk vs. reward and he’s running out of options, so if beating Drew will get him out of these financial troubles, so be it… sword or not. Corbin walks off.

Baron Corbin vs. Drew McIntyre

We go back to the ring for tonight’s opening match as Baron Corbin comes out with no entrance. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Patrick is backstage with McIntyre. Drew talks about Jinder, Veer and Shanky being scared of him. Corbin is a terrible person. Drew goes on about his late mother and why he’s named his sword after her, Angela. McIntyre warns that karma is a bitch and no sympathy will be had for Corbin. We go back to the ring and out comes McIntyre as Mike Rome does the introduction.

The bell rings and Corbin pleads with Drew. Corbin swings and misses. Drew rocks him and unloads in the corner now. Drew with a big chop to the chest. Drew keeps control as we see Jinder, Veer and Shanky watching backstage.

Drew slams Corbin with another suplex for a 2 count. Drew knocks Corbin to the floor and follows. Drew with another big chop while Corbin sits on the announce table. Corbin with a right to the throat, then he shoves Drew into the edge of the apron to turn it around. Corbin rolls Drew back in and follows with a knee to the gut. Corbin tosses Drew back over the top rope to the floor. Corbin charges but Drew catches him and launches him overhead into the barrier. Drew stands tall and yells out as we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and Corbin lands a big superplex but Drew kicks out at 2. Corbin runs out and right back into the ring but Drew comes back with a Glasgow Kiss headbutt but they both go down. Drew beats Corbin down in the corner now. Drew mounts more offense and kips up for a big pop.

Drew readies for a Claymore Kick as Corbin recovers. Corbin sits up on his knees and begs McIntyre, pleading with him as fans boo. Drew takes the mic and says Corbin is absolutely pathetic. Corbin apparently agrees. Drew says he’s starting to feel bad for Corbin, so if things are that bad… how much money do you need to get by for a few days, a bed, some food, a shower?

Corbin says $100,000 and Drew laughs at him, saying that seems perfectly reasonable. How about $200,000 or $300,000? Drew counts down, 3… 2… 1, and then levels Corbin with a Claymore for the pin to win.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

After the match, Drew stands tall as his music hits. Jinder, Veer and Shanky come walking down the ramp now. Drew grabs his sword and fans pop as he raises it in the air. Drew begs them to come to the ring but Jinder holds them back. Drew stands tall again with the sword in the air as fans cheer him on.

We go right to the ring and out comes Drew McIntyre to a pop. He hits the ring and we see what happened at the end of last week’s show with WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and King Baron Corbin. Drew stands tall as more pyro goes off in the ring.

McIntyre takes the mic and warns him that the match is happening at WrestleMania, and they will rip each other to shreds. He talks about their similar journeys but what’s different is how Drew is willing to sacrifice and has sacrificed. Drew goes on and says you can’t beat a man who will sacrifice everything. He plans to run through Corbin tonight and then take back the WWE Title at WrestleMania… the music interrupts and out comes The Hurt Business – Lashley with MVP.

Lashley asks if Drew is done yet and says everyone is tired of hearing him talk about last year’s WrestleMania. He says Drew was a great champion but his time is over. Lashley says everyone in the back has been afraid of Drew but he saw that shift last week, and he felt Drew fade out in The Hurt Lock. They continue to have words and Lashley mentions his match against Cedric Alexander tonight. Drew wants to get the fight done now, no waiting until WrestleMania. They have more words but MVP interrupts and says that’s not how it works, they’re waiting until WrestleMania.

Drew McIntyre vs. King Baron Corbin

Back from the break and out comes Drew McIntyre for tonight’s main event. The announcers go over the WrestleMania 37 card. Out next comes King Baron Corbin from SmackDown. We see WWE Champion Bobby Lashley watching backstage when Schreiber approaches him for comments. He cuts a promo on Drew and looks forward to putting him down with The Hurt Lock. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and MVP is on commentary now. Corbin and Drew lock up as the bell hits. They lock up and break. They lock up again and Corbin goes behind. They trade holds and run the ropes. Corbin drops Drew with a shoulder. Corbin taunts Drew some. MVP also taunts Drew from commentary.

They lock up again but Drew controls Corbin with a headlock. We see Lashley watching backstage again. Corbin gets a shot in but Drew levels him with a huge shoulder. Corbin retreats to the floor to regroup as the referee counts. Corbin comes back in and takes it to the corner, beating on Drew with strikes as the referee warns him. Corbin stops to argue with the referee. Drew takes advantage and goes to work on Corbin, dropping him with a big boot for a 2 count. Drew with a suplex in the middle of the ring for another 2 count. More back and forth now. Corbin runs out and back in, leveling Drew with a clothesline for a 2 count. Corbin uses the middle rope on Drew as the referee warns him and fans boo.

Drew gasps for air as the referee checks on him. Corbin puts a boot to the throat while Drew is down in the corner. Corbin with right hands to keep Drew down in the corner now. Corbin launches Drew into the turnbuckles and he lands hard. More back and forth now. Drew mounts hard-hitting offense with several signature moves. Drew kips up for a pop as MVP taunts him some more. Corbin avoids the Futureshock DDT and retreats to the floor.

Drew tries to follow but Corbin drops him. McIntyre follows to the floor, whipping Corbin into the ring post. Drew then launches Corbin into the steel ring steps. Corbin goes back down at ringside as Drew keeps control. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Drew lands another close pin attempt. They trade big strikes now until Drew beats Corbin down against the ropes for a pop. We see the WWE Champion watching from backstage once again.

Drew charges but gets sent to the apron. Corbin with a shot to the throat. Corbin then runs Drew into the steel ring post, forcing him to the floor. MVP yells at Corbin to hurry and follow up. Corbin brings Drew over and slams him face-first into the announce table. Corbin rolls Drew back in at the 8 count. Corbin unloads on Drew while he’s down with elbows as the referee warns him. Corbin talks trash in Drew’s face. Drew fights but Corbin keeps him down. Drew keeps fighting from his knees now. Drew tries for a suplex but Corbin counters and hits a suplex of his own for a close 2 count.

Corbin traps Drew in a Crucifix on the mat out of nowhere, unloading with elbow strikes as MVP barks at him from commentary. Drew is on his knees now as Corbin talks trash in his face. Drew fights up from his knees now. Drew runs into a big chokeslam from Corbin for another close 2 count. Corbin and Drew are both shocked and dazed. Corbin charges into the corner but goes under the ropes, then right back into the ring. Drew catches him with a big Spinebuster for a close 2 count. Corbin rams Drew back into the corner but Drew rocks him. Corbin catches Drew with a big sideslam for another close 2 count.

Corbin can’t believe the kick out. He’s frustrated now while Drew is flat on his back. MVP barks more encouragement at Corbin. Drew blocks a Deep Six with the Glasgow Kiss headbutt. Drew then follows up with the Futureshock DDT in the middle of the ring but Corbin kicks out at 2. They’re both down now. Drew slowly gets up and goes to the top but Corbin cuts him off with a right hand.

Corbin climbs up to the top with Drew, rocking him with strikes. Corbin nails the big superplex for another close 2 count. They both struggle to get up. Corbin rocks Drew first. They trade more kicks and punches. Drew charges but Corbin catches him with Deep Six for a close 2 count in the middle of the ring. Corbin can’t believe it.

MVP gets up and goes to the edge of the ring, telling Corbin it’s not about getting the win, it’s about taking Drew out. So now take Drew out, he yells. MVP hands his cane to Corbin, right in front of the referee. Drew ducks the cane shot and comes right back with a big Claymore for the pin to win in the middle of the ring.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

King Baron Corbin is backstage yelling at a staffer because he doesn’t have his own private locker room. A referee approaches after Corbin sent for him. Corbin continues ranting about how he’s not being treated right as the guest at RAW. Corbin talks to the referee about what he’s going to do in the match later on. Back to commercial.

Charly is backstage with King Corbin now. She asks if he has any doubts about tonight’s match with Drew McIntyre. Corbin says Drew may be WWE Champion but he’s not king. We see Drew watching the interview as Corbin goes on taking shots. Corbin says he’s going to take advantage of every mistake Drew makes tonight, then beat him. Corbin says the next time he steps in the ring with Drew after tonight will be the main event of WrestleMania, and he will take the WWE Title.

Drew McIntyre vs. King Baron Corbin

We go to the ring for tonight’s non-title main event as WWE Champion Drew McIntyre makes his way out. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and we’re back to the axe-throwing contest at the reenactment. The fake cops have all four Superstars lined up, asking if they know how dangerous it is to throw axes as someone could get hurt. The one female cop is going to let them go this one time because Ivar is cute, but Erik not so much. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins joke around with them to end the segment. We go back to the ring and out comes King Baron Corbin, representing SmackDown in this Brand-To-Brand Invitational match.
The bell is about to ring but the music interrupts and out comes Bobby Lashley with MVP to the stage. MVP says he and Lashley have taken a personal interest in this match. MVP praises Corbin and McIntyre, then hands the mic to Lashley. Lashley puts Drew on notice and says he’s coming for Drew and the WWE Title, and if he needs to pry it from his cold dead hands, that’s exactly what he will do. MVP tells them to make it good because they will be watching. We go back to commercial.
Back from the break and Drew locks up with Corbin. MVP and Lashley watch from the stage. Drew takes it to the corner and backs off as the referee warns him. They shove each other. They lock up again and Corbin drives a knee into the gut. Drew ends up ducking a clothesline and nailing a chop. Corbin turns it back around and unloads with body strikes in the corner. Corbin hits the ropes and drops Drew with a shoulder. Corbin talks some trash as they run the ropes. Drew drops Corbin with a shoulder. Drew keeps fighting and knocks Corbin to the floor. Drew follows and clotheslines Corbin over the barrier.
The referee counts as MVP applauds Drew. Drew clotheslines Corbin back over the barrier to the ringside area. Drew rocks Corbin again and rolls him back in the ring. Drew readies for a Claymore kick but Corbin rolls to the floor. Corbin turns it around and knocks Drew from the apron to the barrier with a shoulder. Drew is down on the floor now. Corbin follows and launches Drew face-first into the ring post as MVP taunts from the stage.
Drew comes back in but Corbin works him over some more. Corbin takes it to the corner and continues to manhandle Drew. Drew fights back with big chops. Corbin charges, runs out and runs right back in with a big clothesline for a 1 count. Drew fights back with chops now. Corbin is still fighting. Drew gets sent to apron, then hung up on the top rope. The referee warns Corbin as he rocks Drew on the apron again. Corbin has Drew up top now. Drew fights back. Corbin climbs up for a superplex and he nails it. Corbin rolls over for the count but Drew kicks out at 1.
Drew gets upset and starts making a comeback. Corbin gets launched overhead. Drew goes to the top and comes flying down with an axe handle. Drew kips up and yells at Corbin while he’s down. Drew puts Corbin on his shoulders but he slides down. Drew catches Corbin with a big Spinebuster for another close 2 count.
Drew talks trash to Corbin while he’s down, telling him to get his ass up and prove himself. Corbin blocks the Futureshock DDT and rams Drew into the corners. Corbin with a big sideslam but Drew still kicks out at 1. Corbin can’t believe it. Corbin and McIntyre trade big strikes as MVP and Lashley look on from the stage. Drew catches Corbin and drops him with the DDT. Drew waits in the corner as Corbin slowly recovers. Corbin side-steps the Claymore and drops Drew with Deep Six. Drew kicks out just in time.
Corbin barks back at MVP’s distraction. Drew ducks End of Days and nails a Glasgow Kiss headbutt. Corbin runs out and right back in but Drew catches him with a big Claymore kick for the pin to win.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

Charly is backstage with King Baron Corbin now. Before she asks about next week’s match with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, she wants to know what happened at Money In the Bank. Corbin says last night proved he will do whatever it takes. She asks about him tossing Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black off the roof. Corbin says they’re both lucky because what people didn’t see was the two of them landing on a secondary roof just feet away. Charly asks if Corbin has what it takes to go toe-to-toe with the champ next week. Corbin says of course he does. Corbin says McIntyre thinks the battle with Brock Lesnar made him but that’s not the case. He says Drew road his coattails on RAW for more than a year, watching him earn his crown. Corbin says next week he will prove why they call him the king.

We’re live from the Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, California as Randy Orton and King Baron Corbin are already stomping on Rusev in the ring.

Orton and Corbin retreat to the floor as Rusev fights them off and stands tall.

Fans boo in the arena. Rusev isn’t happy, looking on from the ring. Corbin and Orton are laughing at Rusev from ringside. Some fans chant “she’s a hooker!” now. Team Hogan’s Rusev turns his attention to Orton and Corbin, who are representing Team Flair. Rusev exits the ring and attacks Orton and Corbin. He sends Corbin into the steel ring steps and puts Orton into the barrier with a fall-away slam. Rusev gets hyped up as he goes to work on Corbin with the steps and the ring post. Rusev rams half of the steps into Orton’s face and then Corbin, sending him over the barrier. Rusev has snapped. Rusev manhandles Orton some more, then sends him face-first into a ring post. Rusev yells out, then charges with a big running kick to Corbin, who was on the other side of the barrier. Rusev with a big kick to Orton next. Vic says this was supposed to be Orton vs. Rusev. Rusev tosses another part of the steps and marches up the ramp to the back.

King of The Ring

Baron Corbin defeated Chad Gable to become King of The Ring, on the September 16th episode of RAW. Corbin picked up the win when Gable goes to grab Corbin’s ankle but luckily Corbin holds the ropes, Gable then goes for a head-scissor, but Corbin counters into an impressive End of Days for the win.
